Answer» I con serf the net fine, but as soon as I start to download a FILE it only downloads for a moment and then gives me a message saying the connection was lost to the server. Running Win 98 w/IE and SBC DSL. Sorry! I could not even download LONG enough to get the program that measures your broadband speed.type netstat in the msdos prompt??...could it be that you have exceeded you download quoter?? some isp have this restriction??post the website and program..i will give it ago..to prove its not a sever error...or MAINTAINANCE...causing it.
