Here is an example of one http://www.shockwave.com/gamelanding/carriethecaregiver.jsp A minute after the game starts I get the dreaded "IE has encountered a problem and needs to shut down" I've tried firefox and get the same problem. I've tried uninstalling shockwave and the plug-in's. No use. Any suggestions?What version of Windows? What service pack? What version of IE? What virus/spyware protection is being used? I'm using Windows Xp Professional, Version 2002, Service pack 2, IE 6.0, Symantec client firewall, which is turned off and doesn't work properly anyways (as soon as I open it it also says it needs to be shut down). I've been having the problem ever sinced I tried to play a game (1 week ago). Some other problems I've sort of worked around: Hotmail doens't work properly in IE, it freezes on every page, but it will work in firefox. Windows live messenger works VERY RARELY, usually just opens up and freezes, but I can get the really old version to work. Alot of websites don't show up properly, the links aren't on them.
