I've being running this program for two months now. One month it was working perfectly. This month it says "Simutrans has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. blah blah blah". It's being driving me mad. It only occurs when I click on something or press a key to MOVE the MAP though. And this is a BETA version of Simutrans. I use Windows XP. What do I need to do to fix this?? Should I dump the BETA and use a stable release?

All I know is, I'd rather off myself instead of having this computer as my life support.

You should try one of the stable releases. That may solve your problem. Since you are using an unstable neta release, maybe a recent release is causing a problem.OK. I'll try that. And I might even try the pak128 version.HOLY SH**! IT STILL WON'T WORK!!

I'm going to download a stable.OMFG!!! I downloaded what they said was a "stable" version from their forum and when I started it it said "This is a BETA version of Simutrans"!!Microsoft, for the love of GOD, stop putting these unhelpful error messages in Windows and start putting error messages that actually tell us what the actual problem is!Blame the gamewriters. they're the ones who need to add errorcatching to their program...I got a different release. (Simutrans 99.11) I played for a while, and it works. So I downloaded SimuTTD. Still no problems. Thank you for your help! Apparently not. I'm going to get OpenTTD instead. Thanks for your suggestions ANYWAY.
