I have a state-of-the-art computer, yet Linux Ubuntu 9.1 is very slow to start up and painfully slow to respond to mouse commands. What can I do to make it move faster?Please post the SPECS of your MACHINE, to give us some ideas as to what the problem might be. Most likely you need a graphics driver or a compatible graphics card.
