Solve : sound disappears when playing online multiplayer games?

1.	Solve : sound disappears when playing online multiplayer games?
Answer» SOMETIMES when I play a game (Age of Empires on cd in particular) with OTHERS online the sound will be there at the start, but then DISAPPEARS as I progress into the game. Other than not being able to use my microphone in chat programs, this is the only problem I have with sound. Would anyone have any clues here please? As for your issue, can you provide a complete list of your hardware? Is Age of Empires the only one you're having trouble with? Do you have any problem with sound when just playing single player?
