The long-rumoured new instalment of Blizzard's massive StarCraft series is set to be unveiled later this month - and it's another massively-multiplayer online game in the style of World of Warcraft, CVG learns.

If true would be good and bad news for all us WOW addicts and/or StarCraft fans.Actually, I might PLAY that. I REALLY, really LIKE sci-fi games. I like Starcraft, but I'm not sure I'd play an MMO version.So is this going to be an MMORPG or a MMORTS? Going to probably be MMORPG I'd imagine with RTS elements. But I couldn't see them doing a MMO like the traditional RTS games.i cant waitI'm still an active SC player, this'll be awesome I never played StarCraft!

But you get guns and spaceships,  tanks and stuff instead of swords and archers.
It's a fantastic game, you should really get it.
I picked up Starcraft and the EXPANSION, Brood Wars, for about £5, so it's cheap too.So, any more news on this subject? Not yet, but I anticipate soon, with how Blizzards website is changing daily showing you a time line of the history of their games each day.

What do you mean 'daily'? Each day they're changing the main page of all Blizzard related pages to talk about a product they've done in the past. The *speculation* is that at the end of the product line will be the announcement of the next product (more than likely StarCraft MMO or StarCraft 2). Because today's splash screen is the introduction of WoW (2004) I think the announcement will be within the next day or so because apart from the expansion pack for WoW there has been no other games.
