Answer» Stupid thing won't. INSTALL when I get to the prtitioning part of setup and it tries to shrink the windows partiton and gives me a error message saying "System error code:-3027.....failed during shrinking partition\dev\hd1\ to 29.4 GB" The hard DRIVE is 37 GB and theres 12 GB free space on itDid you defragment before ATTEMPTING this?No, but I DEFRAGMENTED like 3 weeks ago. I'll defragment anyway.What filesystem are you shrinking? FAT or NTFS?ntfs but i'm already done and it worked |
