Answer» I have used the address window in the Taskbar (bottom of screen) for years in many browsers. I recently INSTALLED IE8 on this machine & the address window is not there & is not one of the options in IE8. Can anyone help I'm not sure I understand - address window on the taskbar?The address taskbar was removed with the arrival of SP3. I've downloaded the 3rd party SOFTWARE to provide the address window, but have not had a chance to try it yet. I didn't know that SP3 disabled this. I don't recall Microsoft saying anything about it, either. Imagine that!
