Answer» I'm trying to load the beryl packages on my ununtu installation. PROBLEM is, I have a intel video chipset on the laptop that I'm trying to install it on. The only video drivers I've ever found for beryl are for nvidia or ati. anyone know if it is possible to install beryl on an intel chipset, and if so how?sorry, I've never INSTALLED a window manager on linux. Ok, I guess I've tried, I've tried installing x on smoothwall, but never got far because ..... I LOST interest. If I wanted to use beryl, I would find a distro that already had it. You could ask the people at www.linuxquestions.org/questions for BETTER advice. Or if there's a forum on beryl's website, you should try there FIRST.
