Solve : updating firefox?

i have Firefox 3.0.10
and have tried to UPDATE to 3.5.1
but every time i try it says that Firefox is STILL RUNNING i check the task manager and find that Firefox is not RUINING except for the update i then KILL the update and try again but it still says the same thingTry clean install: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Uninstalling_Firefox
