omg same problem wid me................i just came here to pen a topic abt this problem but u already did so thanks ..............andcan someone suggest what wrong why videos aren't  playing by wmp
Isnt WMP 11 still a beta? That might have something to do with it.  Either that or for some reason your codecs are not loading correctly.

If you have the TIME I would uninstall 11 and install 10 just to check, or just simply reinstall 11.  Reinstalling something like WMP can be a big help sometimes.I think is got to be the problem about the IE broswer plugin so:
I try reinstalling IE plugin, Try out different browser like Firefox.

I cant UNINSTALLED WMP 11 because there no install log or list in the Add or remove program or in the program file

i try different browser and nothing works and i dont know how to install plugin for IEu should get a bar on top of the browser saying you need to install a plugin and you click on it and it should install it or give you a website where u can install it at.I dont see it

Any i have finally uninstalled WMP 11 and reinstalled WMP 10 but it did'nt work.ummm try googleing ie video plug ins

sorry if i give you the wromg instructions cuz i never had to GOOGLE for plugins they also just appeared at the top of my ie and i just dled them and installed them.Google is my first answer and CH is my second obviously i try google but it come up with nothing but plugin but nothing about this subject.ummm i dont know then.. and i have wmp 10 right now not 11 .............so i how do i unistall it?? :-? :-? :-? :-?The WMP 11 Uninstalled Files are located at Add or Remove program but i did say i cant see it because i havent tick the box at the top.

Go to Add or remove program and tick the box at the top say shows update..Any Mod here is going to answer 3 people problem here!!!! Quote
