Hey guys, I am trying to install Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos on Windows Vista. Ran it in XP SP2 compatibility mode, and when warcraft3.mpq starts INSTALLING, it always stops at the same spot and my COMPUTER freezes.

Running Windows Vista x32.And the file is war3.mpq sorry.it is funny that you have this problem because I played WC3 on my computer once and I have it installed on vista.

Why are you using the xp sp2 compatibility mode? did installing NORMALLY not work for you? Yea, I ran it normally, and it froze up in the same spot also.

I can play Diablo, Diablo 2: LOD, and Starcraft, but Warcraft 3 just doesn't seem to work. I think it could be the disk though if it is freezing up.funny. clean the disk ny getting a kleenex or eyeglasses type cleaning pad a LITTLE wet and then gently wipe underside of the cd slowly in circular fashion.

Maybe cd's data is fine but there's dirt there so the computer can't read it.Try playing dota warcraft it more fun compared to others.dota is the best game ever. with those games you play you should check out http://www.gg-game.com its sort of like a vpn program that is based around those games you mentioned and there is a pretty big community with them.What server do you guys play tft on?
