I have had this game for about a month on my old XP SYSTEM. However recently i have upgraded (completely clean install not DUAL boot) to Windows Vista Home Premium, now the game will not load even after re-installation. it claims the following files is missing; d3dx9_34.dll; Now i have no idea where this is from nor how to fix it. Any ideas?

Im guessing it is a direct X situation?

For inevitable spec question;

P965 Neo motherboard
ATI Radeon RAGE X1950 GRAPHICS card (all drivers installed)
3GB of DDR2 533mHz RAM

EDIT: since i have Vista, i also have DirectX10 installed, shouldn't this override the problem?What is the exact error message?

Have you tried REINSTALLING DirectX?the file d3dx9_34.dll is missing; but however i did what you suggested and ...it works i was installign it as i came on here to check, i was originally worried that it would override my DX10, but further research has told me that it will merely run alongside it.All right, so problem solved?
