Hi,

I am having a problem loading web pages and would appreciate any advice about what the problem is.

For example, I typed www.yahoo.co.uk into the URL in chrome. The page TOOK several minutes to appear.
I then looked in the Network tab of the DEVELOPER Tools.
The links to the following urls have long queueing and waiting times.

https://uk.yahoo.com/p.gif?
https://csm.eu.criteo.net/all?
https://geo.yahoo.com/p?

For example, one of the geo.yahoo.com requests is queued for 8s and then waiting for 10s (see attached snip).
I would appreciate any advice on what causes this or what I can do about it. Thanks.

Why would loading a 25kb image from yahoo.co.uk take more than 15 seconds? I don't THINK that can be feasibly be explained by the speed of the connection. Can ANYONE give me any useful advice on how to find out what the problem is.

It could be on yahoo's end if yer speeds are fine.Hi, Is there a way to test the connection speed to a particular site? I am in England. Using fast.com I get a download speed of around 10Mb/s. Andrew
