Solve : Web pages not opening on first try?

Answer»

The other night I was wanting to log on to the internet using my laptop. I also wanted to do this adjacent to my PC. I had to change a few electrical plugins around in order to plug my laptop into the power strip that the main computer is on (I powered everything down first). Since then, my main computer won't OPEN the web pages the first time. I have to click refresh at least once and sometimes TWICE to get the page to load. This doesn't happen everytime but a lot. I did system restore, I ran several spyware programs and antivirus programs (found one) but am still experiencing the pages not loading.
What type of internet connection is this ? ?Cable. What BROWSER, Windows version?IE7, XP.Quote from: The Bubba on March 24, 2008, 03:52:55 PM

Is your main computer functioning entirely as usual, other than the browser problem? Did you DISCONNECT your main computer from your Internet cable so that you could CONNECT the cable to your laptop, then later re-connect to the main computer? Quote from: soybean on March 27, 2008, 07:39:24 AM
