Answer» About two weeks ago I started having nonstop problems GETTING onto a website. It will tell me my link is broken. Sometimes (like right now) I'm able to get on and it runs fine for minutes at a time. But most of the other times I cannot connect. I've emailed tech support for the website who have told me to use IE 6 or higher (I do), download javascript (I did) and do other security settings to enable me to get on on the first TRY. I've done all this and still have these issues. I'm fine with other websites..
Thanks in advancehi there. First of all i would like to know what is that website that you are trying to access that gives you errors? What is the windows version that you have and what type of internet connection you are using (dsl, wireless.. etc..)I'm trying to get on weightwatchers.com. I have windows XP. I have roadrunner high speed (3g). Thanks for your hlep! What browser, version? Did you try another browser?HI, Sorry, IE6 with service pack 3. I'm trying firefox right now to see if it will work. My roomate is having the same issue on his computer also... Does your roommate use IE6 as well?yup. And this just started maybe two weeks ago. Before it was no problem to log in. I THINK WW has upgraded something and I just can't log on. I just got the same message with Firefox. "Page load error". I have Bitdefender on my computer, but that was never a problem. I assume, you're using router, correct? If so, turn computer off, unplug modem, and router from the power source. Wait 1 minute. Plug everything back. Restart computer.another thing, try CONNECTING your computer directly to the modem, without the router to see if it works.Quote from: medalliongirl on June 14, 2009, 06:46:49 PM IE6 with service pack 3.
Do you mean service pack 3 for Windows XP? There is no service pack 3 specifically for IE6. And, if you have service pack 3 for Windows XP, why in the world are you still using IE6? Get IE7.Quote from: medalliongirl on June 14, 2009, 06:46:49 PMI'm trying firefox right now to see if it will work.
