IE still has the highest usage, and its not the BEST! Many just don't know there are alternative browsers, and just use what's bundled with WINDOWS.
YES, but that's been slowly changing. The trend in recent years has been a decrease is percentage of users using IE. Where this will go from here on remains to be seen. It is not yet , yes it is, at the point where FireFox 5 will be on your credit card.

do you use a program just because it simply works and you just run with it? Some people just don't care what they use as long as the web is working Mozilla firefox is best browser for window xp. i m also using window xp with mozilla firefox.Quote from: bretwt91 on June 23, 2011, 04:50:08 AM

There is no best - whatever you like is the best. IE, Firefox, Opera, Chrome, Safari - use whatever you like.
I think fire fox is best for windowXP.

What is the best browser to use for a windows XP. I tried everything but it seems too slow.

Today almost all browsers are the same speed, or at least so close it doesn't make any difference. The browser you use now has more to do with the look and feel you like.

If you feel it's slow, it's more than likely it's your ISP or your machine. There are several ways to test your speed at sites like speedtest.net, DSL reports, etc. and make sure your are getting the speed you are paying for.

I agree totally, but, something tells me there will still be another 20 posts saying, 'Firefox IS the fastest' or 'Chrome IS the Best'. If only people read as much as they typed. Yes, i know, i live in Hope. Its just outside Despair.I still think fish get tired of seafood...bring me some lobsters, patio.

as long as your computer is happy, I'd just run with it ...Quote from: 2x3i5x on July 05, 2011, 10:13:14 PM
