Carbon, that article is a bit out-dated now. Clearly, it's referring to IE 6 when it implies a version of IE without tabs. And, it's basically referring to Windows XP, pre-SP2.

With Windows XP SP2/SP3 or Windows Vista, and IE 7, I seriously doubt Mozilla's Firefox has a significant security advantage. Probably not. The only security disadvantage of current IE version, would be ActiveX, in my opinion.Hmmm....Although I agree that article is a bit dated, there are many Add-Ons for Firefox that can make it safer.FIREFOX is best browser which iam very much like it In Firefox 3 in the about:config area, is there anything I could change in there that will make it more secure?Google found a few goods links:

http://www.firefoxfacts.com/2007/02/14/make-firefox-safe/When it comes to what browser is the most secure this past few years, I would say that Mozilla Firefox is off the charts.I'm a hard core Firefox user, but I want to be as much FAIR, as I can.
Please, go to Secunia site, and look at the numbers, and types of security vulnerabilities in IE7, and Firefox. They're about the same.
There was a different story with previous IE versions.
FYI, I don't like, and I don't USE IE at all.
