Oh Sorry 4 That =========================== Corrected Post =========================== You Should Prefer Nvidia 8 Series Thank you for the help guys Now I been looking around and I been having some questions: What is Standard, XT, XXX for PERFORMANCE? Difference between GeForce 8 series and the GeForce 9 series. Since I been looking at the XFX 9800GT and the GeForce 8800M GTX, which is good? Though Any1 Would Recommend Any Stuff To You I Suggest GeForce 8800M GTX Thats The Best Card Out There Quote from: the_mad_joker on February 27, 2010, 12:26:27 PM
two problems: that's a MOBILE Graphics card. for laptops. Not for desktops. it's the equivalent of the 8800 GTX, which is a great card, but to say it's "the best card out there" is to spread a lie. At this time I believe it was an ATI HD card... (I forget the exact model, I want to say.. err, 5870 or something) that was the absolute best consumer level card you could purchase. Quote from: DanteReborn on February 27, 2010, 10:23:31 AM What is Standard, XT, XXX for performance? The differences between, say, a 9800GT and a 9800GTX and so forth are really usually minimal; usually more stream processors. what's usually more important is the Actual Chip- (the 8800 and the 9800, AFAIK both use the same Geforce chip) as well as the size and speed of the memory it has. the extra letters kind of just BOIL down to a few extra features that you might not need at all. between the 8800M and the 9800GT, you are forced to get the 9800 on account of the M (again) being a mobile processor.
