Answer» I'm new to this, so I'm sorry if I'm in the wrong place. When I have multiple windows open through the internet and I close ONE, they ALL close. I've poked around my computer trying to fix it, but I am pretty much computer illiterate. It is a problem when a window opens during an online purchase and it automatically closes when I click in it (it's not a pop-up, but for purchasing a warranty on electronics). Can anyone help using layman's terms?I assume, this is Internet Explorer? What version? What Windows version? Try to disable all add-ons... Tools > Manage Add-ons > Enable or Disable Add-onsI disabled all add-ons, and it seems to have worked. THANK YOU!! Now, you can start enabling them one-by-one. Enable first one, open couple of IE windows, close one, and see if second one stays. Repeat this procedure with each add-on, until you'll find the culprit. Try to disable all add-ons...
