Solve : Windows Vista Sidebar messing up the size of the gamescreen? |
Answer» EDIT: It's fixed. I managed to manually reset the screens configuration but I've no idea what was reset since the only values that changed were the ones going right-left and up-down. The same ones I tried to change from the beginning but without any luck. Have you updated Vista at all? Unless there's an update I don't know about, it should be up to date.Disable Windows Sidebar in Vista Thankfully it's also easy to disable. To disable the sidebar, right click on the sidebar or sidebar icon, and choose properties: Uncheck the "Start Sidebar when Windows starts" checkbox: Then right-click on the icon, and choose Exit to close the sidebar: Your sidebar should now be gone, and won't start back up with Windows anymore. That's all I have mate. I don't get why you have this PROBLEM and I've looked everywhere.
