Answer» Ok, I have windows xp home EDITION and use the latest version of internet explorer. I am not having any trouble with the computer itself, seeing I shouldn't because I just got it a few months back, but everytime I'm on the internet, sometimes 3 or more times, this box pops up that says Notice: If your computer has errors in the registry database or file system, it COULD cause unpredictable or eratic behavior.....and then goes on to ask me if i want to install winfixer 2005 to check my computer for free...
There are 2 choices. Ok, or Cancel...I always say cancel or hit the red x to close it. But..it doesn't listen and tries to anyway. I have wireless internet in my room that pulls off the internet in the living room.
It's aggrovating because i can't get it to leave me alone...i have the pop up blocker set to high, which blocks most other ones, but this thing just won't stop popping up. Then sometimes when i get through the process of trying to close it, whatever window i have open will close too, then like 10 min. later, it pops up again!!!!

Unless you just formatted the drive and have 3-4 virus/spyware/adware removal tools, this is absolutely false. If you haven't checked with anything, get READY to be surprised!
