Answer» older dell inspiron 2500 LAP top I want to make it WIRELESS . this was given to me and I see that has a creditcard ethernet 10/100 card and under that it looks like a adapter would fit there.We have a place that we can buy used and they are tested to be working condition.They sold me a linksye wireless-g notebook adapter I wasn't SURE if the person knew if this was the correct one. I plug it in and the light came on but I am not sure how to install it and it did not come with a driver. I do have the dell drivers and utilities cd all NEW to me any suggestion and how I can get this wireless or at least if this is not possible with this older lap top I will know not to go any further .Thank youThe wireless adapter drivers will be at the card manuf. site... Make sure you have the correct model # and version of Windows as that's how they are LISTED.
