Answer» Hi All, I have had my issues with ndiswrapper as I am sure MANY have also or so I am told. My question is, what wireless pcmia card with ndiswrapper or with just DRIVERS is the best to use for a debian dell laptop running kernel 2.4.27-2-386. Or even just works a little Is this plain Debian?Yes sir. But for some reason. I get noting. This time I went out and got a belken card and I loaded the driver with ndiwrapper -i (the driver name) and it loads but I get no hardware present. Before when I used the LINKSYS card I got at least hard ware present and at least the devece would turn on. But nothing with this one. On boot I do notice that a message appears that says somethig like pcimia moduels fail to load??Linksys WPC11 version 3 seems to work well with all. You can get them on eBay, but MAKE sure it is v3. This is a B card, not a G.
