Solve : won't "remember me" on this computer?

Many of the sites I frequent every day have a "remember my login or PASSWORD" button, which I always check, but then next time I VISIT, I have to enter it all again. What can I do?
Any help appreciated.

And what kind of browser WOULD that be?

Make certain it is not blocking cookies.
