No, that sounds normal. WOW takes forever to install and download. The only thing I remember I had a problem with for a slow download is that it detected i had a firewall and i configure the right ports for the Blizzard Downloader.Actually, yes, that sounds pretty normal. WoW+both expansions+patches=long time waiting. There's actually a much faster way to do it, if you have the means to copy ~17GB (estimating there, my WoW folder is 17.7GB, but there's about 2GB in patch files that can be deleted). WoW doesn't require the installation to actually take place or the registry entries to be made, as long as all of its files are present. If you have access to an external drive or network crossover cable, just copy the whole WoW directory over to the other machine. Once it's copied over, simply create a shortcut to 'launcher.exe' or 'wow.exe' on your desktop and you're GOOD to go. The process takes a while, but nothing like installing it from scratch, and this way you have all of the patches and EVERYTHING READY to go, any installed mods already there, etc. This is what I usually do, as I have three machines that have WoW on it: work, laptop, and desktop at home. Also, when there's a very large patch put out, instead of downloading it on each machine, I just download it on one, then copy it to the others and apply it. This saves a lot of time too.thanks for the great advice
