Answer» I have used Yahoo Mail for years but recently the response has become very slow with MANY ADDS appearing. Is there anything I can do about this?Most likely you have a malware problem if you have not been keeping on top of the problem. Go here , carefully follow the directions and POST the 3 required logs for analysis and cleaning by a malware specialist.Thank you karmac. I have gone to the malware removal and done what was suggested up to step 3. I have Windows 98 and SuperAntiSpy and Malwarebytes will not operate with it. I COULD not do Step 6, the Java update, apparently for a similar reason. So I did not attempt Step 6. Ok, you'll have to post this problem for evilfantasy to see in the virus forum as he may not see it here. EXPLAIN as you did above and he or Super Dave will help you out. |
