| Answer» The upward movement of water and minerals from the root to aerial parts gravitational force occurs through the process of ascent of sap in xylem vessels and tracteids of root stem and leaves are inter cinnected to from a countinuous system of water conduction channels reacting all parts of plants The water along with dissolved mineral from root hair passes into the xylem ressel passes through the cell of cortex enddermis and pericycle then ascent of sooe take place from the xylem of the root to the xylem of the stem and leavs ,vessels and tracheids Ehaporationof water molecule from cell of leavs creates a suction which pulls water from the root towards the upwards parts of the olants | |
