| Answer» In series arrangements -----------------------------1)If one appliance gets fused or switched off then other appliances will also stop working due to breakage of whole circuit. 2)All appliances have one switch hence appliances can\'t be operated independently by different switches. 3)Voltage(p.d) is being shared among different appliances hence all appliances do not get the required voltage to work properly. 4) Magnitude of resistance is maximum due to which small amount of current from the power supply line. Hence high power rating appliances like A.C ,geysers needing high current can\'t work properly. 5)Electrical appliances need current of different values to operate properly. | |
