What are the post fertilisation changes in plants? |

Answer» After fertilisation, the sepals, petals and stamens wither and fall off. In some cases, the sepals remain persistent. The ovules are transformed into seeds, the zygote becomes an embryo and the ovary becomes a fruit.Post-fertilization events refer to all the events of sexual reproduction taking place after fertilization, that is, after the formation of zygote.
