Answer» Large amount of heat come in water It produces slaked lime with a large amount of heat. When u add quick lime to water it reacts vigorously or fastly with water and gives slaked lime and lot amount of heat....... When Calcium oxide i.e. quick lime is added to water filled in a bucket, it reacts vigorously with water to produce slaked lime (calcium hydroxide) releasing a large amount of heat. |
