What happen with resistence when temperature is increase in semiconductor |
| Answer» As the temperature of a semiconductor is increased more number of free electrons are released and so its conductivity increases. Thus its electrical resistance decreases with increase in temperature. Hence semiconductors have negative temperature coefficient of resistance. | |
