Answer» Egg shell is made up of calcium carbonate when calcium carbonate reacts with nitric acid it gives calcium nitrate ,carbon dioxide, water. CaCO3+ 2HNO3. >. Ca (NO3)2+CO2+ H2O Egg shell is made up of calcium carbonate. If\xa0we add NO3 acid in CaCo3 in it gives carbon dioxide,calcium nitrate and water.So ,same reaction happens when nitric acid is poured on egg shell.\xa0 |
