Answer» In double circulation blood goes twice in the heart during each cycle. Once it carries oxygenated blood from the heart to the rest of the body parts and again it carries de oxygenated blood from the body to the heart.It is necessary to keep the oxygenated and de oxygenated blood from mixing which helps in more efficient supply of blood and heps the mammals and birds to regulate their body temperature Double circulation essential because it will prevent micing of pure and impure blood During a single cycle blood goes twice in the heart which is known as double circulation. It is necessary in human being to separate oxygenated and de-oxygenated blood because this makes their circulatory system is more efficient and helps in maintaining constant body temperature.
