What is is dependent consistent |
|
Answer» It means that there are infinite many solution, and when we draw a graph ,then line of both equation are coincident or both equation draw on the same line. And they will be presant in form a1/a2= b1/b2= c1/c2. Or ratio of all cofficiant of like term are equal. For example:-2x^2+4x+7=0,4x^2+8x+14=0.Here, In first equation, a=2. ,b=4, c=7 In second equation, a=4, b=8, c=14a1/a2=b1/b2=c1/c22/4= 4/8= 7/141/2= 1/2= 1/2Hence,this pair of equation are coincident. If\xa0the\xa0systems\xa0of equations are\xa0dependent, it\xa0means\xa0that there are an infinite number of solutions. So in order to determine a single solution (out of the infinite possibilities), the value of x will depend on what you choose as the value of y. That is, x varies with y (and y varies with x).\xa0In mathematics and particularly in algebra, a linear or nonlinear system of\xa0equations\xa0is called\xa0consistent\xa0if there is at least one set of values for the unknowns that satisfies each\xa0equation\xa0in the system—that is, when substituted into each of the\xa0equations, they make each\xa0equation\xa0hold true as an identity. |
