What is known as cardiac cycle? |
|
Answer» Simply systole :- contraction , diastole :- relaxing Diastole is the part of the cardiac cycle when the heart refills with blood following systole (contraction). Ventricular diastole is the period during which the ventricles are filling and relaxing, while atrial diastole is the period during which the atria are relaxing. It has two phase, first diastole phase - the heart ventricle r relaxed and heart fills with blood . And second phase is systole phase -the ventricle contract and pumps blood out of the heart to the artery There are two phases of the cardiac cycle. In the diastole phase, the heart ventricles are relaxed and the heart fills with blood. In the systole phase, the ventricles contract and pump blood out of the heart and to arteries. |
