In other words, the currents in the branches of a parallel circuit add up to the supply current.\xa0Also, they have the same potential difference across them. In other words, any components in parallel have the same potential difference across them. And, the total resistance will always be lesser than the least resistance in the circuit.\xa0The total resistance is calculated as 1/Req = 1/R₁ + 1/R₂ + 1/R₃ + 1/R₄ + ....... + 1/Rn\xa0 ∴ for finding minimum resistance , we have to join all resistors in parallel.So , 1/Req = 1/(1/5) + 1/(1/5) + 1/(1/5) + 1/(1/5) + 1/(1/5)1/Req = 5 + 5 + 5 + 5 + 5 = 25Req = 1/25 ΩHence , minimum resistance = 1/25 Ω
