Answer» When acid react with base then acid neutrilizes the base so this type of reaction is called neutralization reaction. When acid and base react with each other to produce salt and water then such reaction is known as neutralisation reaction. For example(i) HCl + NaOH → NaCl + H2O(ii) HNO3 + KOH → KNO3 + H2O In this reaction an acid and a base is reacted to firm salt and water.Ex. HCl+NaOH gives NaCl +H2ONaOH+H2SO4 gives Na2SO4 +2H2O |
