Answer» The NITI Aayog has been entrusted with the\xa0responsibility of\xa0overseeing the implementation of\xa0SDGs in India. The MoSPI has been entrusted with the\xa0responsibility of\xa0developing National Indicator Framework for measuring the progress of\xa0SDGs\xa0and associated targets.The NITI Aayog, with the Prime Minister as its chairperson, is to provide the overall\xa0coordination\xa0and leadership. The institution has carried out a detailed mapping of the 17 Goals and 169 targets to Nodal Central Ministries, Centrally Sponsored Schemes and major government initiatives.
