What is the activity to test the presence of SO2 ?

Answer» Thanks Kaushiki!!!
SO2 is a pungent smelling gas. it can be detected by the following two tests:1) SO2 turns pink colour of KMnO4 to colourless due to reduction of MnO4- to Mn2+ ions.2) it turns orange coloured acidified K2Cr2O7 solution green due to reduction of Cr2O7(2-) to CR3+ ions.Presence of so2 can be detected by reacting with potassium permagnet(k2mno4) whose colour is pink but after reaction it will be .temporary bleaching agent ,give baryata water and lime water test jus like carbon di oxide.it is greenish yellow gas having a pungent irritating smell it turns moist starch solution blue
Anyone plz tell me the answer process....
