What is the basic difference b/w the permanent magnet and electromagnet |

Answer» PERMANENT MAGNET --> it is a permanent magnet which shows magnetism for long duration.its strength can\'t be changed .it has fix poles.it includes bar magnet,horse shoe magnet........ ............ ............. ......... ELECTROMAGNET --> it is a type of temporary magnet .its strength can be changed by increasing current and number of turns . it\'s poles can be changed by changing the direction of current....... The magnetism of permanent magnet cannot be increased but the magnetism of electromagnet be increased by increasing the current. |
