What is the CGS unit of magnetic field |
|
Answer» any of you have dinesh physics book of new edition then plz check pg no.89 on which there is written that the CGS unit of magnetic field is Oersted Gauss....1Telsa=10^gauss According to the system of Gaussian units (cgs), the gauss is the unit of magnetic flux density B and the equivalent of Mx/cm2, while the oersted is the unit of magnetizing field H. One tesla is equal to 104 gauss, and one ampere per meter is equal to 4π x 10−3 oersted. |
