What is the difference between arteries , veins and capillaries |

Answer» Artery: Arteries carries oxygen rich blood from heart to all parts of the body.The walls are thick.Vein: Vein carries co2 rich blood from all parts of the body to heart.The walls are thin.Capillaries: Capillaries are the blood vessels on the terminating point of arteries and veins. Capillaries connect the arteries to veins. The arteries deliver the oxygen-rich blood to the capillaries, where the actual exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide occurs. The capillaries then deliver the waste-rich blood to the veins for transport back to the lungs and heart. Veins carry the blood back to the heart. |
