What is the difference between Binary fission and multiple fission

Answer» In binary fission parent cell divides into two daughter cells -exampleAmoeba ,leishmania
In binary fission, the parent cell divides itself into two equal and identical daughter cells. It is the most common form of reproduction in prokaryotes such as bacteria. In multiple fission, a single parent cell is divided into many daughter cells.
BINARY FISSION = parent body divides into two daughter cells. Karyokinesis occurs only once. Eg :- Amoeba, leishmania, etc.MULTIPLE FISSION = parent body divides into multiple daughter cells. Karyokinesis occurs multiple times. Eg :- Plasmodium.
In binary fission, there is only one parent organism. Eg. Amoeba In multiple fission, there are more than one parent organism.. Eg. Plasmodium
