Answer» There are many types of digestive enzyms in our body,which helps us in various functions.Function of certain enzymes are defined here:1.Saliva :Saliva secreted by salivary glands contains an enzyme salivary amylase that breaks down complex molecule starch into simple sugar.And,helps in thorough mixing of food in our mouth ,which makes the food easy to travel through alimentry Canal.2.Pepsin :An enzyme pepsin is present in the wall of stomach .It activates only in the presence of hydrichloric acid and start work.It helps in digesting protiens into amino acids. The muscular walls of the stomach help in mixing the food throughly with more digestive juices and release hydrochloric acid a protien digesting enzyme called pepsin and mucus |
