Analog\xa0voltmeters\xa0move a pointer across a scale in proportion to the voltage of the\xa0circuit; digital\xa0voltmeters\xa0give a numerical display of voltage by use of an analog-to-digital converter.\xa0An\xa0ammeter\xa0is a measuring device used to measure the\xa0electric\xa0current in a\xa0circuit.
