Later a German Scientist Friedrich Wöhler proved this wrong when he prepared the organic compound Urea by heating the aqueous solution of two\xa0inorganic compounds.Thus it was found that the organic compounds can be prepared in the laboratoriesand they do not occur only in plants and animals. Therefore, this theory was discarded.
