Why air is not filled in electric bulb ? |

Answer» Air is not filled in electric bulb because the filament, which becomes extremely hot when the light is on, would rapidly oxidize and burn out, since air is mixture of different gases, in oxygen is one of them and oxygen supports burning and oxidation. Oxygen is good condoctor of heat and when tenstent fillament produce heat this air will allow to burn bulb Bcoz it might lead to ?...cause air is a good conductor of heat. |
