Why are binary fission and budding include in asexual reproduction?

Answer» They are termed as asexual reproduction because a new individual is produced just by a single parent. In sexual reproduction a new individual is produced by the fusion of male and female gametes. But in budding ,the organism such as the Hydra has a small outgrowth in its body which is the bud and this bud detaches from it after sometime. This is the new individual. And in binary fission the organism such as amoeba simply divides into two. Thus we call it asexual reproduction
