Answer» Due to its tetravalency. And have high affinity with oxygen, nitrogen,and sulphur.
I mean covalent bonds r usually weak not carbon bonds
Although carbon bonds r weak, carbon form strong covalent bonds due to its small size as it has a strong force of attraction.
